Our annual Sports Party was a huge success. Guest enjoyed the Kentucky Derby, Clippers Playoff Game and the Mayweather Pacquiao Fight! Titled “Fight Night in the Hills”, it turned out to be a wonderful success – a real trifecta with all three huge sporting events. We expected 75 guests and ended up with 125. Lots of great connections made at our attorney’s home in Woodland Hills. As many of you know, we host events throughout the year that bring together our partners, colleagues and new friends. Upcoming Debtcraft Social Events
We have two events coming up, including a large fully hosted open house gala at one of our Class A office buildings in Calabasas June 11. We expect a wonderful turnout with already having received more than 60 RSVP’s from our real estate professional, lawyer and accountancy friends. The other is our annual Yacht party, tentatively scheduled for Thursday, July 23rd in Marina Del Rey.
Currently we have $300,000 available on our low COF opportunity fund that needs to be deployed in the next week or so…and looking for opportunities to invest as debt or equity. Prefer to stay in California. Thanks to everyone for assistance for our Woodland Hills development deal…it’s now under contract and expected to close in the next week. We are always looking for similar opportunities to acquire, reposition and sell in-fill land or unstable commercial assets.
Legal Cannabis continues to play a limited role in our commercial activities, especially where real estate is concerned. Presently we are acting as conduits in sourcing quality debt and equity for a variety of related and legitimate business opportunities in this space…we are helping to structure these deals using our “private money mentality” hats…which infers tough and determined negotiations and deal structure. Our confidence is high as we negotiate and underwrite due to the coterminous nature of private lending and the evolving legal marijuana space. Please contact us for more information.
Worth mentioning is our recently closed transaction…a purchase money, construction second trust deed: strong numbers, funds control, quality borrower…all here in town (Beverly Hills). Funded in a week or so. We are OK with these types of deals providing there is sufficnet time for rigorous DD.
